Virginia Woolf's 1925 novel Mrs Dalloway follows one day in the life of Clarissa Dalloway - the day on which she is to hold an important party. It is perhaps Woolf's most well-known novel and it considers the themes of lost love, the choices we make in life, and mental illness. The novel was first published by The Hogarth Press, which was the publishing house created by Virginia and her husband Leonard. This paperback edition is a Penguin Modern Classics from 1969.
