Arnold Haskell was a British dance critic who played an important role in the development of the Royal Ballet School. This is a lovely 1954 Puffin edition of Going To The Ballet, which Haskell wrote as a guide to help those seeing ballet for the first time to understand what they are watching on the stage. It also includes a glossary of ballet terms, a recommended selection of ballets to see, and a selection of fascinating photographs. This unique Pigeon Post is curated with all the vintage treats you see pictured, as well as a tote bag. Everything is beautifully gift-wrapped and presented in the ballet-themed vintage chocolate box. This will make a wonderful gift for any budding ballet dancers or balletomanes.
