This is a 1963 Penguin edition of Farewell Victoria by T. H. White, featuring beautiful cover art by David Gentleman. Through the eyes of Mundy, a groom, we see both the splendour of Victorian England, and the slow, sometimes painful transition into the twentieth century. Mundy is brought up on a great country estate and learns to love horses and serve his aristocratic master. After fighting in the Zulu Wars he returns to a changing world, where he discovers his skills may now be redundant.

This book comes curated with three surprise vintage treats, and everything will be beautifully gift-wrapped.
